Twenty women from First Pres gathered for two nights at Greensprings Inn from Oct. 1-3. The retreat's theme was "Ritual and Storytelling" and gave the participants time to eat, talk, hike, hot tub, make quilts, pray, listen to stories, write, share personal experiences, dance, sing, and eat. It was a wonderful time.

       
OCTOBER 2004 WOMEN’S RETREAT A SUCCESS!!

Thank you to all the women who attended the Annual Women’s Fall Retreat at the Greens Springs Inn. Your participation created a special experience for all of us. We wish to thank our presenters:

Our theme this year was Rituals and Story Telling and this gave us an opportunity to know one another through the hearing and telling of our stories. We enjoyed hiking,
wonderful buffet meals and the gifts shared by each of our special presenters. We especially enjoyed the watercolor quilt project. The retreat ended with a loving circle of worship through music and movement.
