Relay For Life

For 24 hours, June 10-11, fourteen members of First Pres became a relay team called the First Prez Racers whose mission it was to raise money and awareness for cancer research, along with honoring those who had battled the disease. Team members took turns walking around the SOU track. Led by Violet Lindstrom and Samantha Kyme (who spent the night helping with games for the crowd and getting only a little sleep), the team members brought in $500, a part of the overall $112,000 raised by the entire event.
