Dim Sum Chinese Dinner

The Dim Sum Chinese dinner was put on by the Parish Life committee on the evening of April 16, 2005 in Calvin Hall. Esther Freed, with the help of Jerry, Lori, Bob and grandkids, cooked the 8-course feast for over 100 guests. Many others helped prepare and serve the food, decorate the tables, and create the appropriate atmosphere for a Chinese celebration -- complete with music, lanterns, flowers, candles, and intriguing Chinese artifacts. Three students from SOU provided cultural awareness, including calligraphy and instructions in the use of chopsticks. It was a great evening!
